The 2001 National Conference in Chicago continues a tradition of excellence in environmental and hazardous materials management education. The conference provides an opportunity to discuss current environmental issues, obtain updates on new initiatives and trends, and reflect on the environment and ACHMM membership's dedication to protecting our natural resources.

Sponsored by the Academy of Hazardous Materials Managers (ACHMM), hosted by the Chicago Chapter of the ACHMM, in cooperation with the University of Kansas, the conference is an annual event totally dedicated to the needs of the hazardous materials manager.

Conference Attendees
The ACHMM conference is expected to draw more than 800 local and nationwide environmental and safety professionals. Attendees have backgrounds in hazardous materials handling, transportation, safety, emergency response, and regulatory compliance.
